Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited, a Leading Multinational Paint Company, now in search of young, dynamic and result oriented personnel to recruit immediately for the position of “Demand & Supply Planning Manager” under Supply Chain Department at its Corporate office, Dhaka.
Applicant Profile:

MBA/ MA (Economics)/ M.Com (Finance)/ M.Sc. (Industrial Management, Engineering) from a reputed university.
10 ~12 year’s practical experience in Supply Chain function out of which 5-6 years experience should be in leading demand or supply planning or a functional responsibility.
Good understanding of Global Business model, Supply Chain Operations E2E

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure supply strategy for Budget (i.e. Operational Plan), Master Business Strategy (i.e. MBS) to support Marketing and Sales objectives along with IP/ Purchase, Engineering and Business team. Key Driver for the process
Identify gaps in demand and supply (basis 18 month rolling forecast) and take them to logical conclusion in the MOR forum. Cover all Business and Categories. Ensure delivery of Company RIG from Ensuring Supply perspective
Ensure medium term and long term regional consensus Demand plan across business categories at Brand and SKU level using Base-line and Event uplift in agreement with Sales and Business teams
Take ownership of Single commercial demand plan for MOR and DF process and ensuring the delivery of same to Financial planning by ensuring robust process with Business teams
Optimise Supply Chain efficiency by trading off Working Capital and Cost to serve to realise Efficient Customer Service level for the Market. This should lead to an efficient and responsive Supply Chain
Drive Execution of Key Group and Market Initiatives in the market like FreshNes, Working Capital Optimisation, Event management and Stage Gate model, Inter Market Supply BPs, Regional sourcing , Berger all SBUs Integrations and reporting etc
Ensure weekly exceptions process of D&SP is integrated across E2E supply chain team
Be a Coach and Mentor to the SCM (D&SP and Business planning process) for Bangladesh and provide necessary support to achieve KPIs and implement BPs in the market along with cross-functions
Set up and monitor FG/ RM and PM inventories at corporate level, factories and co-packers as per company objectives. Achieve Corporate objective for G & MWC for the market
Upstream Supply reliability improvement by leading meeting with purchase and technical to drive improvement in supplier service / vendor management
To monitor and co-ordinate all projects agreed for operational efficiency improvement in the upstream supply chain in coordination with H.O purchase and factories
Work closely with factory management to ensure factory SCM operations and KPIs in line with Globe best practices and a motivated and result oriented team
Standardise and ensure effective operations for BPBL by networking with key Producers. Ensure target CSL and Inventories at market and ensuring right communication and Bilateral co-ordination with customers
Monitoring MSA (Mastering Scheduling Attainment), DPF (Despatch Performance) and ensure> 95% Performance at factories and co-packers
Supply Chain training and talent development along with GM Supply Chain by ensuring Replacement tables and career progression for Key “High potentials”
Work closely with Corporate HR for Management Trainee recruitment process for SCM
Be a resource for Operational Excellence 2011 initiatives for supply Chain team and coordinate for cost optimization initiatives related to D&SP area
Review sourcing strategy for inbound supplies for all RM/PM by focussing of supplier rationalisation, increased horizon of ordering, single supplier item combinations
Events management (I&R Plans, Consumer Promotions, Gift packing, Special edition packs) and planning and integration
Co-ordination with in the Cross-Functions for supply chain KPIs, best practices, improvements as identified in the company objective
Supply network models and SKU deployment models ex supplying factories, co-packers
